Hi Everyone,

I know some of you may have heard about my tribute band CHILDREN of the GRAVE-A tribute to Black Sabbath the Early Years 1970 to 1978. I created this profilepage originally on EZ Board for COTG in tribute to the mighty Sab with links to our MS pages a while back. Last year I converted it to yuku and added my mentor"Tony Iommi" of Sabbath with some of my favorite early pics of him. COTG has been a fun project since 2004 and still in full force, Tony is themaster of heavy metal riffs in imo, not a zillion notes at once, but makes each note count. There were several versions of Black Sabbath, this is true, butthis is the beginning of the raw heavy sound that separated them from other rock bands of the time. This is the years of the heavy, dark & mysterious. Ifyour a old school Sabbath fan, check it out. No You Tube yet, maybe down the road. Turn your speakers on!

Very cool Jack and indeed, Tony is the master of the heavy riff. The beginning of" Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" or "Symptom Of The Universe"says it all. Dave.

How true,...it's not always theamount of notes you can jam into a measure. It's how you use them in relation to the others. And just as important or creative, the use of silent spacesbetween the notes! Silence in the right place says just as much.
