This crap (no pun) is very disturbing. VERY DISTURBING. It's these SOB's that play a big factor in the economic downfall that is effecting most ofus. I'm pissed. I'm pissed that I have always played by the rules and not overextend ourselves. Only purchasing what was affordable. And now, because of these aholes, so many people like me are losing their livelihood over these bastards' greed and no <cough> government oversight, or notenough government oversight, or maybe inept government oversight.
Bernie Madoff is another example of inept oversight. $50 billion?? And he's on house arrest??? HUH???
Where is the government <cough> in taking away everything these aholes own and sending them to the slammer??? WHERE???
Oh wait, our government is too busy trying to pass laws that cigarettes have to burn completely out within one minute of no inhale as to not startfires...thats right, they are too busy to save us from ourselves with petty crap. Asleep at the wheel...
Yet, we re-elect them fine folks who make the laws...

The 4 legged crapper is outta my league. His $1,400.00 waste paper basket might be possible
Seriously though, if I were BOA's Ken Lewis, I'd want to strangle Thain for miss representing his firms balance sheet. Then I'd bang my headagainst the wall for not opening my eyes and doing a thorough audit of my own.
Bottom line is, Lewis got greedy buying Merrill thinking he picked up a diamond for the price of a zircon. Goes to show you, "you get what you payfor".
Do you think that when Lewis was in Thain's office, giving him the boot, he got to try out that snazzy crapper. Might as well get your moneys worth!
On a side note, you can't help to find it pitiful, yet humorous, that Citi was threatening to sue the Federal Gov't for not giving them a chance to bidon Merrill. They claimed that Paulson arranged a shotgun marriage. Citi should look back at this and thank the Gov't for saving them from themselves. Citi as of today has gone to the TARP trough yet a 2nd time for a grand total of $45 billion of tax payer handouts, not to mention a $306 billion loanguarantee. And they have the nerve to complain that the Gov't is forcing them into shedding their non profitable businesses, such as Smith Barney??? Please...
