Default Early Times car show meet 6/14

A friend of mine rallied a few of us together for a cruise to Compton for the Early Times meet today; I usually don't like car shows (too many orangew/purple flames '32 Fords and common-variety muscle cars) and get over them pretty quickly, but was promised a small show with some good stuff. And sothere was...

You guys may recognize this car from the Rodder's Journal a few years back (my favorite of the show).

I relegated myself to the "primer spot" area...

I love that Coe,who does it belong too? Someday I'm gonna do one of those and make it a flatbed.

Ryan what model is yours? It looks pretty straight.

    Cool stuff indeed!

Whats even cooler is a chick that pumps her own fuel. As it should be...Did she check the oil too?

Me? A Male Chauvinist image? Maybe! But hey, they wanted to burn the bra...

The cabover is Larry Wood's. My Hudson is a '49 Super Six Club Coupe, but it has a later Hornet 308 in it. While quite the lead burrito, it does get upand move when necessary.

Nice choices, agreed that the gold rod is neatest! Also like the Olds panel, and your Hudson. Thanks for sharing the pictures. --p

Now, that was a very cool car show indeed! My favorite? Your Hudson, no kiddin'! I just love the view out the windshield of a car like that, with the hoodornament thrusting it's way forward!

No! Have been busy with work consistently for the past several months and the car's starter gremlins have taken my free car-time. I'm still not surewhat it will be, Hudson had a series of beautiful two-tones (would be period-incorrect for this car) or possibly a very VERY pale yellow almost white, withblood-red wheels. Definitely an enamel.

The Olds Deliv. is a really rare car; I walked around the front expecting the Chevy front, but no. And it is original. And that's Trish; she has the'51 Ford and walks the walk, though she did almost run out of gas...
