I have no clue. I know they used to go for some good $$$ on Ebay, but you can't sell them anymore there because they are "dangerous".image

They hurt too........Got one stuck in my foot when I was a kid........We used to play Jarts "differently"........When we played it was a four persongame.........My friend lived in a double wide lot so the Jart's rings were about 40 or 50 feet apart....Two players (teamates) at each end......You stoodwith one foot on the yellow ring and the other person at your end stood on the other side with the opposite foot on the ring............You could move yourfree foot all you wanted but if you lifted your foot that was on the ring the other team got a point......I didnt lift one day and the jart stuck into theinside of my right heel about an inch or so....OUCH!.......HJ

I fortunately don't have any war stories about jarts, but this just reminded me of the time my kid sister's friend put a garden forkthrough my sister's foot. Pretty nasty, and one of the rare times I actually had a little sympathy for her... image

Um...HJ, might I ask what "spirits" were involved in your sport of choice? That doesn't sound like a game that involves sobriety. Also soundslike a game you only want to play once.....

Actually Chris it sounds alot like "Mumbly Peg" A game that was popular years ago, I learned from my Dad.
You stood with your feet very far apart. Then one person would throw the knife between your legs. Then wherever it landed, you moved your foot up to the knife. Then you threw the knife. This went on until your feet got closer & closer. Maybe at about 6 inches or so someone would chicken out & the other guywins.
Well it seemed like a good idea at the time......................

I live in the Seattle area and these pop up on Craigs List on a regular basis for $20-$25. I picked up a set without the box but it did have the rings at agarage sale for $10. The neighbor's cat makes a GREAT target!!!

    I REALLY hope you're joking...
I don't care for animal cruelty in any form.
So, are you joking or serious?
