Post more pics of Costa Rica, I've never seen any pics of that place before! That sunset looks absolutely stunning. I know I'm getting older when Ilike the pic of the sunset as opposed to girls riding horses...

Lane, I guess where to go depends on what your interests are. I love Maui in March/early April. The weather is typically nice in the 80's, the water isjust right for snorkeling, and the whale migration is in full swing then. The whales are amazing, and make the entire trip worth it, although there are plentyof places to see that are stunningly beautiful. Not much for night life there though...
If you do plan on a trip to Maui, there is a book called "Maui Revealed" that will give you an honest opinion of places to see, and places to avoid. I've got a copy you can borrow should you decide to go there, the place is amazing, but depressing to leave...

Man those are some great pictures there Scott lush big leaves and steamy i love that and that whale is really kool.
I know exactly what you mean about getting depressed when your leaving, im as happy as a clam when i get there and then i will always cry when im leaving itsbig bummer.

I've always wanted to go to Costa Rica and I'm leaning in that direction. The big problem is it takes a looooong time to get down there. Ticketsfrom Portland are in the $800.00 plus range which seems like plenty. Still beats driving......

If you can do LAX to CR its dirt cheap but its probably worht paying the extra. one thing you may want to do is check airfares like 4 to 6 months in advanceand check every day one day you will hit a cheap fare later Mario.
