I got this CD it sounds great. Been an Ace fan since he was in KISS. Some goofy lyrics but the guitars just crank.

I am also a vintage KISS fan. This current linep, with two guys wearing Ace's and Peter's makeup is a tribute band in my opinion. Sonic Boom isactually a really bad CD, to my ears it sounds like KISS doing a bad job of imitating bad Bon Jovi. The last worthwhile KISS release was ALIVE II. All thepost-makeup stuff was really just horrible, with a few exceptions.

The marketing of all the Walmart KISS swag is just insane. $7 bags of KISS M&M's (6 oz!) Gene will bend over his fans time and time again, and theyjust love it. I can't understand it. I met Gene in NYC at his book signing in the Virgin Megastore some years ago, and he was incredibly nice. He took theextra time to talk to me and shake my hand-I'll never forget it (was lucky enough to get a pic!).

Im not really interested in seeing Kiss without Peter or Ace its just not the same. Ive seen the original band with original members 3 times and it was alwaysawesome ,now the dude that took Aces place just does not fit the part he looks freaky and he just doesn't move right. The last time i seen them was the socalled farewell tour. Im sure Gene being the business man that he is saving a lot of money by having these two newbies in there.

I loved Kiss in the 70s but not so much since. Maybe I'm an oddball, but the Phantom Of The Park thing pretty much ruined it for me. That was one of thosemoments where I felt violated.
