That sucks Mike, and I am sorry, but at least Porkchop passed naturally in the arms of people that loved her. It is much harder to have to help nature along.

As a dog lover who has lost many "buddies" I know exactly the pain you feeling. It's just not fair that dogs have such short lives. Turtles andbirds and many other creatures can out live us.
For me, it has always helped me to get a new pup as soon as practical. It will never take the place of our lost friend, but before long it will be just asspecial in it's own way.
It makes me sad to hear of your loss. Michael
Sorry to hear about Porkchop. She was lucky to have her family with her at the end. Her final resting place will be where she lived her life.
Growing old is mandatory. Growing up is optional.
