    The Garmin map from my Edge 305 is worse than the iPhone map. So far, the statistical accuracy is quite similar.

    I use an app for my MyTouch that's called CardioTrainer - looks similar though I'm able to "see" the landscapes as I'm using it. It also uploads each hike/ride so that I can access & track my history online. Best part - it was free!
