I'm assuming that is the old wheel that has the bearing stuck in it. If that's the case, scrap the wheel
and do whatever necessary to not damage the bearing - cut / split / break / grind the wheel to get the
bearing out undamaged (unless of course you can easily get another bearing from another source).
Install the bearing back onto the axle and crimp the tip of the axle with a pair of vice-grips or a set of
DULL side cutters .... don't use good side cutters, else you will cut the axle off instead of crimping it !!!
Another method would be to place a small dot of JBWeld on the tip of the axle and let it set for 24 hours
to be sure it's completely cured. Unless you're planning on some track time, the JBWeld will be more than
adequate to ensure the wheel will stay put under normal handling.

Yes Mark that's the old bearing. I don't know how good it is. I'll get a bearing from one of my parts cars. Crimping the axle sounds good,I'll go that route. Thanks for the advice. Randy

Hi Mark, Got her fixed! I lost the first bearingI still don't knowwhere it went
Second bearing bounced around theinterior for awhile
I finally got it out
It took awhile but I finally got the axle crimped
Put the new wheels on and ran her down the track about a half dozentimes
and it held!! Thanks for the help

.... And it's even good for some track time !!!

Congrats on a repair well done.
Mark.
awesome work. but way a US wheels on a HK?
Raed
Raed, That was all I had to spare that were in decent shape. They're staying don't want to risk pulling them back off. I got them off a Beatnik Banditthat had a busted dome and missing engine. The wheels were pretty nice so i just used them. Whats the difference between HK and US?Randy

US style wheels are a rougher casting than their HK counterpart.
The US wheels also have a finish akin to being painted silver, where-as
the HK wheels appear to have a chrome like plated finish.

Thanks Mark, I like the look of the HK wheels allot better than the US. The US wheels were really trashed.
