Hey Fuzz,
Do you guys still have the "White trash with cash" guys going??? Cool times!!!
Later, Dave
Yeah Fuzz...I'll be there. Dont buy up all the reds before I get there...OK?...LOL. How will I find you there? Vince
Heh that's pretty cute, Vince. Why doesn't the plane have a propeller though? I recognise the guy in the pilot's seat. I used to collect the HyperMite and I had that Christmas one.
Heh Kitty...I just havent put the propeller on yet...still adding finishing touches. Im still looking for that hypermite with that guy in it,do you happen tohave any or know where I can get one? Thanks,V
First I use a Dremel with a brass wire wheel attachment to knock off the initial crust, or some #0 steelwool, trying not to leave any scratches. Then I usewhats called Metal Masters impregnated wadding polish (this stuff is great) or Brasso...Never-Dull wadding polish is good to. The third stage I will break-outthe full size drill with a polishing wheel with polishing material on the wheel, light pressure...let the polish on the wheel do the work, then I will use asecond wheel for removing polish left from the first wheel, then change to a clean wheel for the final polish.Then again...you could just plate it like we did with Michaels Python;

Thanks for the reply Kandy...Could you please tell me where I can get the plating done? Is there someone here on the board that does it? I really like theway the python chassis turned out,it looks great. Thanks again for all your help. Vince
There two guys here that do it, Rooster - ( James Sweetring ) & redline2 - ( Steve Major ), both hang out at http://p094.ezboard.com/bredlineshoptalk as well here, another great hangout for resto folks. This pic is maybea bad example, but this thing was completely black & well corroded, so it can be done with a little elbow grease & the right stuff.
Anyway, on the plating...both of those guys do great plating work, if you wanna see something awesome, have them plate the cast as well then spread a Kandycolor over it...WOW!! Do a post looking for plate work & one of those guys will get'er done for'ya.
Piece...
