Powder Coating Redlines? Whats Next.

I just bought a couple cheap RLBBs on Ebay and thought I'd try powder coating one to see what would happen. Well much to my surprise it came out killer. Iused a color called dormant violet (because it looked alot like Magenta spectraflame). It is a 2 stage powder which is cleared after it cools. Just thoughtI'd share with the board.

Is that supposed to be tougher than typical paint? Can the powder-coated paint chip off?

I couldn't tell... maybe it's that repro casting, the coating looks rather thick.

Its much tougher than paint and if applied properly it won't chip. It may look thicker because it was 2 stage. But anyway this is my new unscratchableracer.
