Look for him in two of James Dean's films---REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE and GIANT. He quickly pissed off Hollywood so he ended up on quite a few TV shows, my favs being his many appearances on early episodes of THE RIFLEMAN, one of which that was directed by Sam Peckinpah---TB

Know your Beatles albums? John Lennon has said that he credits a drug-induced Hopper with the line "I know what it is to be dead" for the song SHE SAID SHE SAID on 1966's REVOLVER.

Yeah, I heard the Man hasn't been well,and this is sadly expected.

What can we say..Rebel,Giant, Moon in True Grit,Cool Hand Luke, (Remember him doing the prayer,and then opening up the steeple?..lol) He pretty much stole Apocalypse Now..
