it is the weirdest thing it drives great turns fine without scraping even over bumps no rubbing at all

it looks bad ass but i may raise it an inch in the front.still have a few thing to do to it i am going to drive it for a while and see if it settles much then adjust from there

    then off to paint LOL

Interesting! I know it was a GM design mandate in the 60's that all cars have very roomy wheelwells so it was easy to install chains. The standard was that you could fit your hand between the tire and the wheelwell lip. Maybe they were thinking about customizing too! Naaaah...

Randy, how did you actually lower it? Kingpin offset, or? Just curious...

On an "A" Body GM like that you can use just springs in the front and rear to lower it.They also make lowering spindles if you so choose.Looks Good Randy.

Finally figured out how to change this !!

yup just like terry said it was a spring swap

simple and easy took about an hour.

car is fun as hell to drive gets tons of looks,it actually looks lower than it really is because the wheel/tire combo is so big.

wheels tuck nicely but still have a ton of ground clearance

my camaro is actually about 2" lower than the olds LOL
