Default Question about E-bay bidders with zero feedback...

Opinions, please, because I do understand that we all had zero feedback once, but a part of me says, "screw 'em."

When I sell there, I make sure I check the box "Must have 5 or more feedbacks" or something like that. Hasn't failed me yet...
Might want to step that way to avoid hassles from dipsticks looking to waste peoples time...

I hear ya, but they don't come along too often, and the few that have, have paid right up, but that's not to mention the moron with 1 feedback point who won my Park'n Plates bug last Thursday and didn't contact me 'till Sunday to tell me he'd pay on Monday or Tuesday (reminds me of Wimpey on Popeye). It's now Tuesday and he still hasn't paid. My auction says to pay within 5 days and if you need longer just ask. Today's the 5th day, so we'll just see what happens.

If I come across something on eBay and don't have enough in PayPal, I just ask for a few days, and folks always say,...."No Problem" and "Thanks for keeping me informed".

Just as I hit the post button, I thought to add (I was gonna maybe hit the 'Edit' but I thought no sense in getting Peeper's ire up LOL!!!),...if that person is a pain, or doesn't communicate, add them to your 'Blocked Bidders List' so they don't do it again or retaliate with more bogus bids on other stuff of yours

I am relisting one of my wife's old cell phones for the 3rd time because of this issue. The idiot will bid up to see what my reserve is and win it, then no pay and no response. They get booted and come back with a different name. I have had the same name since '96 (wow, 14 years of ebay!) I remember the days when there was only about 10 categories and now look how many there are.

Anyhow, I would be leary of 0 feedback bidders too.

    Later,
    Terry

Ever since the rule change where we can't leave neg for a deadbeat buyer, there seems to be a lot more of that BS going on. I found that by only accepting pay pal, you can avoid most of the 0 feedback, newbies problems. Michael

This should help filter out some of the issues and the zero-feedback munchkins. There is indeed a box to check in your seller settings that allows you to block all bidders with less than your specified amount of feedback. Exactly what I was looking for!
