Took a day off today and thinkin about Pizza, where's the best?

Hey Charlie, I'm not trying to start an intercontinental Pizza war here, I know NY pizza is good as my wifes uncle owned Ardito's pizzeria on Main st. in Flushing for over 30 years so I have tried it. I just think Gondola's is better and a whole lot closer. Also its not a chain, theres only 1.

LOL! I grew up in Flushing...
There was probably about 10 Pizzerias on a a 1/2 mi strech on Main St and going up Sanford Ave.
The most Famous was Gloria's and it was there probably 30 yrs before it was sold. Lots of memories.
I still go back to NYC for Pizza at L & B Spumoni Gardens in Brooklyn.
They have been there for over 70 years and the pizza squares think sicilian but thinner are killer.
They have homemade Italian ices and the restuarant next door to pizzeria is excellent too..
I live in Jersey and can find some real good pizzerias but if you want bagels or bialeys you gotta go to NYC to get the them.

Funny you mention pizza! Drivin' past the local Pizza Hut here in Owen Sound today, saw this, laughed my butt off, and tied up traffic to snap a pic:

I have never had a really good chain pizza,most great pizza are from Mom and Pop. I am thinking you live somewhere in southern Cal ?? if you ever get to Corona Del Mar or Laguna Beach Ginas is a must.

daspanic have you eaten Patsys? Rays is good but Patsys uses wood to heat the stove.

Never been to Patsy's...is it in NYC? I'll try any pizza at least once!
