So Lesnar got his butt kicked and we have a new heavy weight champ Cain Velasquez....Good, I never have liked Lesnar anyway mostly because of his attitude. This ought to humble him a little....Michael

So much for the self proclaimed badest man on the planet. Lesnar got destroyed!! He was completely gassed, 2 Min into the fight. Then got his face opened up, and did the EXACT SAME thing he did against Carwin. curled up in a ball on the Matt, and got beat. After watching this fight, it never should have happened. Carwin beat him just like that, and carwin should have been champ. Lesnar is a huge dude. But once he gets hit he is done!! LOL i love it.

I agree if they stopped this fight they easily could have stopped it against Carwin BUT this sets up some interesting fights - you have Carwin, Dos Santos and Big Country....Lets see how it plays out.

    * Remember HATE Em or LOVE Em Lesnar is a promoters dream he puts bodies in the seats and eyeballs on the PPV.
So him bringing more exposure to MMA is a good thing.
Lets face it MMA is still growing it has already passed boxing just look at the PPV numbers and will pass the WWE and its clones in the next few years.
You actually have MMA training now and kids are starting to train MMA just like Karate and wrestling so in the next 5-10 yrs the MMA fighters coming into the sport will be the best all around skilled fighters the sport has seen.
Dana White is sitting on gold mine....lol

I think GSP is the only guy to hold a belt for any length of time presently, competition for the titles are amazing and belts are exchanging hands very fast. Seems like yesterday that Rashad Evans was fighting Forrest Griffin for the belt and that is goin on 3 years this XMAS...(Woody and I went to that one). Still one of the best events I've ever been to! You could hear the leg kicks 12 rows up! OUCH!

Back to the farm for Brocktober!

I admittedly know very, very little about this UFC stuff. But my son-in-law purchased that pay-per-view and invited me over with his group of buddies to watch. I was expecting to see 5 rounds of knock-down, all out ass whooping by both fighters. What a let-down that was. As soon as Lesnar got hit hard once, it was obvious that he was scared. Never thought such a big guy would curl up like a baby like that.

That fight did not make a fan out of me, but my son-in-law said that isn't typical, and wants me to give it another try sometime. I will .... but if it's another 2 minute embarrasment .... then forget it!

Matt, please give it another try. Did you miss the the Diego fight? I don't think MMA fans will miss the Swock very much. He was moron, and tried to bring WWF/E crap to the real legit game. And that crap with the Undertaker after the fight, leaves a really bad taste in my mouth. It's almost like, WWE is trying to use MMA PPV fights, to promote their crap. You don't train two years and think your going to stick around very long. Some of these guys have multiple black belts, former champs in wrestling (real not fake), and have put in the work. Swock was joke, nothing more than white version of Kimblo Slice. Toughest guy at the picnic, but not so much a big deal for a seasoned pro. He said he was going to retool and come back, good effin' luck. Cain will own him 100 of 100 bouts. Dude didn't even break a sweat.
And what it Tito doin, back in the ring?
