Clear coat

What is the best clear coat to use that comes in a spray can that wont mess up water slide decals or the paint im using enamel paint

Use testors gloss coat from a hobby store

thanks i want to clear coat over the decals but i dont want to ruin them should i put a light coat or does it matter

Can always says several light coats are best, the thing with the testors is i've never had a problem with it reacting with the pain.

the clear i used the other day messed up the paint and the water slide a real bummer

What brand of paint are you using ?

this car has about 8 coats of testors "high gloss enamel overcoat".
the pink is a powdercoating, the decals were printed with a computer printer on water slide decal paper

Many of the slot car guys use Future floor wax.
Gives a nice gloss finish and will not harm the decals.
