    A "vibe" polisher....

Oh yeah....I spend a LOT of time polishing by hand and dremel too.

Since you have experience, on the spoilers were the engines the same on the cars (hc,bh, kk)?

Yes they're all the same...exceptions being the SC and EW...I have noticed minor diameter size differences in the posts that were spun into the engine bays but not sure if there's a pattern yet.
It's kida true...when you take stuff apart you get quite an education.

    Really great looking cars.
    Love the naked and prouds.
Are you clear coating them or are they slated for color.
The red really pops out at you.
What kinda paint are you using.

I have found at times there is a width difference in the motor, from car to car, and if you mix them up, they don't always fit between the fender wells.

They all get painted eventually...these are all completed now....I just like the way they look completely stripped and thought anybody who likes redlines would like to see them too.
Lots of people have asked why my restores shine...as a fellow restorer you know it all starts with the canvass...also, lots of people think you can only achieve these results by replating....this is proof that you don't.
I use multi grates of sandpaper, steel wool, different metal polishes, elbow grease plus a vibe polisher, dremel and lots of patience....then I shoot them with a $20 Aztec brush hooked up to a can of compressed air under the range fan (yeah my wife wants to kill me but I like all the cool colors our stove wears now)

As for the red it's tamiya clear, not quite as good as the Redline Shop stuff (nothing is) but it works...I also have had success with Pebeo stained glass paint (I painted an LMF apple green with this stuff and it turned out great) but as I said ...Jon's stuff is by far the best so I use it sparingly.....it's hard to get it past the border nazis.
