Thanks! The yellow hatchback is a Chevette, the van is labeled as a Tradesman. The black truck is a Chevy and so is this wild yellow one I think.
The lights are safe to plug in, and are quite beautiful, but the killer on them is how hot the bulbs can get. I finally got to sort through, fix, and correct the sets (the more they match and appear as they did new, the better as always). Some of the pieces are quite rare. The big score in the lot are the NOS ICE bulbs from GE, the pink cord Royalites, the NOMA bubble light bulbs, and the twinkle bulbs with the boxes (found out about these puppies when testing). They Royalites are supposed to have all pink ublbs, matching the cord, but I only have enough for one of the sets to be correct.
Sadly, the little tree is dead and is really for looks and non-funtional. It is beyond my capabilities at this time as it takes a special bulb that was burnt out and I could not get current to flow on a fitting replacement.
Pics to follow the progress and I'm sure you guys will love the eye candy!
Oh, and the GI Joe stuff? Yea, my dad was like, "I had this one as a kid!" (I think it was the mummy one). Its funny really, here is his 17yr old son digging up stuff he had as a kid! Whats worse, I am now finding some toys he really wanted, but never got!
He used to have the Thundershfit 500, Spoiler Sport, GI Joe, an Atari 2600 (a newer version than he had, I'm sure), LOL!
