Unhappy my rookie attempt at removing kid paint

well i made a big mistake at trying to remove kid paint from a spectraflame car and well i think i messed up big time

    before HK Mustang

    as it sits right now

i put too much solvent on a q-tip and it got on my fingers as i was holding the car and have messed up the windows im going to keep going to remove the rest of the paint and have it as a reminder not to rush into this stuff

Looks like a good restoration candidate now. Might be able to progressively sand/buff the window back to specs but you'll have to take it out first.

Here's an idea for next time: "Paint" the windows with Elmer's glue. They'll be protected, and the glue will peel off later.

You've just had the same experience as almost everybody who's attempted your task. Don't feel bad.

I did the same thing to a 1978 Hot Bird. Only my windows shrunk and melted.
