Any old school BMX guys out there?

I picked up this 1980s Murray BMX bike in near mint shape, a true survivor. I know Murray wasn't one of the high end bikes back then but it was probably one of most common.

I'm an old school BMXer but way before that bike came out. I was sponsored on a BMX team and recieved the very first set of Moto Mags out of the factory to test and they went on my Little John Murphy race bike. That was back in the mid 70s.

I had asked for a orange crate as a kid I got a huffy instead, after a while, the chain guard got removed, tires went knobby, and we changed the handlebars to motocross ones, road that bike till I went in the air force and my parents got rid of it, it was great for riding wheelies. Hey if you need new tires I have new old stock in the garage, lmk

I still have mine from when I was a kid, a black Ross Pirahna and chrome Haro Sport.

Earlier this year I finished a Tribute Azusa or Retro JMC done to honor my brother who passed in February.Won best in class and tied for best of show at the Rockford gathering this June.

my first bmx bike was a diamond back viper then a hutch then got into freestyle bikes had a trick star but i picked up a 87 kuwahara magician freestyle bike at a local estate sale a couple years ago all original the kids around my house freak out when i show up to the skate park

Hell yeah! I used to ride a whole lot more when I was younger but I still have a mint '87 Mongoose Decade and just picked up an all original early 80's Schwinn Phantom BMX. Great bikes!
