He's a fine specimen Rick! What are the hunting regs on Moose up in Northern Alberta? I'm guessing the season is now on?

Turkeys? We have more fricken wild turkeys around here than you can shake a stick at. Bloody things are doing a job on the cash crops. The White tails used to be the major feeders, but in the last few years the turkeys have taken over.

LOL...Darn things...do they eat your trees/shrubs or anything? Darn deere here...I got fed up after everything I planted would get tore up... I now spray a catfish bait smelling junk on anything I plant. Doesn't hurt the plant but the deer don't want to mess with it either. Haven't seen them around for a bit, but its just about time for them to start running. Deer populations have went thru the roof here....they're everywhere... see one dead on the road every other day.
I got a pleasant suprise the other day when i was mowing. I have tall grass around me that I just don't mow... Its out by the property line. When I was driving by it 6 female pheasant flew out... I was hoping they would come this year... Hope they stay too and have plenty of little ones. Pheasant populations have really suffered the last 10 years. If winter is fairly mild...should be good.

Rick is right they are Huge. I stood next to one in Maine a few years back , I 'm 6'4 and it towered over me.

Ok so it was stuffed and standing in the lobby of a restaurant but, it was Huge

Wow... I guess Moose in the backyard isn't so bad...ex wife just sent me a text and some bears made it into her back yard and knocked a wall off her chicken coop and ate all her chickens but one.
