Vacation

I should put quotations around that title. This weekend was not very good to me and I realize it could have been much worse. Does anybody feel like a vacation, weather it be over Easter weekend or on an ordinary day just turns out to be more work and misery than if you just stayed at the office or in the classroom?

I came out pretty good, but the rest of us not so much. I won't go into detail, but we finally came home at about 9:45 last night.

Oh well, out to the post office I go then I have a load of work to do.

Vacation is usually tougher than work for me.We moved into a new house 3 years ago and I have yet to get the yard up to par.Trying to get my shop in the garage organized and do the yardwork keeps me pretty busy.

For me, vacation is vacation. I work my tail off the week before I leave and the week I return so that I can enjoy vacation without the stresses of work, e-mails, phone calls, etc. But with that said, I know it feels like sometimes when I take day off from work, I end up working more than what I would have if I would have stayed in the office.

I just came off vacation from last week. I think I worked harder on vacation. I was working out in the yard all week power washing, staining, landscaping, mulching, oil changing, tire rotations. I was almost ready to go back to work. Almost. LOL
