Pulled it off at 52mph, both cars made it. Very cool!

Wow, not one comment for a Hot WHeels related thread, I guess all you guys and gals are speechless at the daring of the duo LOL
I was surprised as to how slow they went and still made it.
That's very cool Ron!! Thanks for posting the link because I hadn't seen it.
I watched it on X and was real surprised at how slow they hit the loop. But then again I am no physics major either.
Gary: I love the new avatar.

Cool trick!
There is an article on the web that discussed the target speeds (between 48-52 MPH)
Approach too slow, and the wheels will lose contact with the track.
Too fast and the design of these cars can cause the frame to bottom out, creating friction and slowing the vehicle, perhaps perilously.
They beefed up the shocks on those two cars to limit this potential hazzard.
I was really shocked at the lack of speed on those cars but then again, how fast do the motorcycles go when they are ridden in the giant barrels?
WOW!!!!!!! That was AwSoMe!!!!!!!
Anyboby see the one that didn't quite make the jump? Hope he's alright.
