    Default Bike Show pics

These pics were taken at a recent bike show in Illinois.

Saw this guy on the road going there.

The bikes that were entered in the show for judging in various categories.

This bike took the trophy for best of show. An MG Grey Ghost with a prototype disc wheel.

I bought this bike prior to judging and it won its class. Best unrestored Krate / Stingray.

I don't know if it on my end but not all of the pics came up, thank you for showing the bikes, I have several old bikes from the 50 s. Currently I am woking on a Columbia straight bar that will be a motored bike, the front end is a springer off of a monarch (looks like a Harley) the rear fender is off of a monarch bobbed, the wheels are off of a work man, it is painted John Deere green, the tires, pedals and seat are white, I may replace the seat with one off of a tractor, I am going to put a whizzer tank on it. It has a vintage center stand so it won't fall over, most everything is vintage up to the 60's I even have a license plate for it from the 50s, from defiance Ohio, the number is 0000. I have mounted a vespa fender ornament on the bobbed fender. I still have to manufacture the engine mounts, the bike probably won't be finished till next year but when it is I will post pictures. Thanks for the post

Glad to see we have some bike collectors here as well. I have a couple of bikes that I restored, I am into 70s bikes mostly but do like the look of those vintage bikes you posted there, real cool stuff.

My grandson would love those MX leaders? He loves motorcycles at two years old, who knew?

Thanks for the show! I'd love to start a collection, but I'd have to add onto the house to store it. :-/

Love the bikes! Is that yellow one with the shocks a Yamaha? My next door neighbor had one and I always wanted one of those, but I don't remember them coming with a fake gas tank...

Thanks! I believe it is a Royce Union, when I received it the plastics were orange(hard to find) I decided to go with yellow instead. The bike was given to me in real bad condition(see below) so I had to do something with it, came out real nice I think. It now belongs to a member here as I traded it for Redline related items about a month ago : )
