I have a feeling these are cars I sent, sorry Brothers, myself and the old lady are smokers but we are trying to quit. I will make sure to disclose that stuff I may offer may smell like Marlboro's in the future. Again, my apologies

EDIT: I also buy collections that may come from smokers so that does not help either. I guess it's just one of the things in the hobby, any hobby, you may have to deal with. I get record lps in the mail from time to time that smell like cigars from a guy I know who smokes them

Whenever I get in a shipment that was obviously from a smoker - I throw away all the packing materials and trash the boxes - do not re-use as the smells just transfer and get on the recipients fingers, not cool.

Being a vintage GI Joe collector as well, you can imagine the smells some of the clothing picks up. The dryer sheets works very well, as does baking soda. Some guys will put the smelly items in a plastic bag, and put it in the freezer for a time.
Lysol, for me, never really worked, except for giving it that piney-cigarette smell!

Oh. I know the feelings of receiving cars that came from a smoker's home. I simply let the cars air out for a couple of days. And that works as well.
