Hi everyone,

For those of you that saw my previous thread about the car show yesterday, you may have seen the correct original year style plates on my 1957 Chevrolet wagon.Well, today I received my new registration in the mail that goes with my YOM(year of manf.) plates, check out the pics. FYI, in order to register a classic carin the state of CA coming from another state or that never had YOM plates, you must have an original validation sticker to go with the year car before it willbe accepted here in CA, don't know about other states. These plates were acquired by a collector/dealer that I met who sells DMV clear classic licenceplates from dead title cars being detroyed or junked. I am so excited now to finally say, '57 EM "ELECTRICMISTRESS" is offically a California classic car to stay. I need to get those small black top tab mounts to put the blue Jan PR and 2009 PRstickers on above the rear plate, they do not go on the actual plate, at the car show a guy had an '56 Chevrolet Belair and had those mounted on his rearplate frame, that's why I know, so that's next before the stickers go on. She does look much better like this, eh Johnny.

Rear plate has the original 1957 Validation red sticker.
