Family That Lost their Home Needs Help: Update

Hi all.

I have never done this before , but here goes.

My wife is a 6th grade teacher at Longwood Middle School in Middle Island, NY (Long Island). One of her students lost their home in a fire this past Thanksgiving weekend. That has to suck! I thought I'd reach out to the good folks here and see if I can help pull in a couple of bucks to send to her family. Paypal, checks, money order-whatever is fine.
