Travelin' Bandit in the Azores...

Took a much needed vacation...2 weeks in the Azores Islands! I was going to head for Spain, but the recent airplane crash there scared to doo doo outta me, soI stayed put! The islands are very beautiful (9 of them)...each one very different...I basically lived without running water, but thats another story...PeepingBung sent me a Bandit for the trip, and it sure took a beating...the Traveling Bandit is available to anyone who wants to take her for vacation, just let meknow and I will send her...but she has to be resent to someone else...

My villa in Sao Jorge....it was like living in the 1800's, but the view was awsome, weather was perfect...I could easily have stayed there the wholetime...

This is Terceira...old world cities, great coffees..the butter and cheese to die for, and I am wearing all of it right now ...





I went into this beautiful church....the nun there took me downstairs to show me that before the church was built, it was a cemetary. There was a maze of 6 ftdirt walls that had human remains sticking out everywear...yuck...











There are bullfights all the time, they let bulls run neighborhoods, and guys get drunk and run from them...



...and how they cook...



...condoms available everywhere..



Thought Scott would like this childrens book....sure he will comment on it..

Those pictures are beautiful Anita. You're lucky you got to travel to Europe. I would love to go there someday. I haverelatives in England but have never been. My sister's been a couple of times. I love the olden days look.

Wow lucky girl, that looks like a very relaxing trip. so tell me more about the food, what other kinds did you get to try, is there a lot of the same stuff ashere to eat or is it all different?

It's a shame those islands will never be the same again after Anita and her friend Lucifer visited, we should take up a collection for the village folks tohelp them recoup their looses.
