Something cool that was my Dad's.......

Hi Folks,
Here are a couple of pics of a model that my Dad had picked up somewhere, (just one of the many cool things he accumulated through the years!) I thought itwould be pretty cool to display!


Someone started building it, but didn't get very far!


My Mother also told my Brother and I to pick out one of my Dad's old 1:1 cars that we liked,
the choices were:
'46 Dodge Power Wagon
'50 Mercury 4dr.
'53 Ford f-100 longbed
'56 Ford Fairlane Victoria
(they all meant alot to my Dad, so we're gonna try and keep them all in the family!)
I picked the Fairlane, at some point I'll get some pics of it.

Excellent choice on the Fairlane, but hopefully all can stay in the family. Does it have the glass roof?

No glass roof, as its not a Crown Victoria, it has a solid roof being a Fairlane Victoria.

I won't be able to get any pics of the Power Wagon until spring, as its wrapped up and under snow right now! Its definitely a cool lookingrig, looks as if it could go just about anywhere!!

I built that model when I was a kid, it wasn't an "Orange crate" but it was the same car in blue. 1/18 scale with a motor like that one.
