Default Oldest Surviving Ford To Have Been Sold By FoMoCo...........

Millions of FoMoCo cars and trucks have been sold over the last 108 years, and it's still going strong today.........

The Ford Motor Company was founded in 1903 by Henry Ford, and the rest is history........

Here's a piece of that history, this 1903 Model A Rear Entry Tonneau, the oldest surviving FoMoCo Product that was offered for sale to the public known to exist, it has had only 5 owners since it first rolled out of FoMoCo's Mack Avenue Plant, 108 years ago..........

    Thanx for the look!

Johnny, do you know if the rear seat part was an add on option? I have seen them in black & w/o the rear seats. I'm confused.

Yes Michael, if i'm not mistaken, it was either an add on option, kinda like a "Mother In Law" rear seat, or a completely separate model from the 2 seater, i'd have to check my FoMoCo reference books to be sure. I've also seen them in black, and the 2 seaters too, in books, and at the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Mich. They had at least one of each on display, back in '77, the last time i was there, and they may still be there today.......

I'm figuring by "Oldest" it means by the serial number of said above vehicle, which was recently sold at auction for an undisclosed amount........

My brother inlaws father has a collecton of 1 to 1 Fords and i think his oldest is a 1912 model T as i have seen it afew times but he likes his model A's alot better.. his also has a 1921 model T statebed truck like seen on the TV show (Waltons).. i guess i like his 1938 Ford truck with the V8 and the 40 Ford Coupe Delux.. his 1929 Model A Roadster is the cream of the crop as it takes 1st place in most local shows..

Why you do Pete! You A Phunnie Guyyyyyyyyy........

Jimmer, you might want to check on that year of your Bro-In-law's Model T, 1927 was the last year for them, then they were replaced by the newer Model A in 1928............

His looks like a '25 or '26, could be a '27 as well.........
