Wow, yeah that would have been a great way to spend a day.

Looks like a cool time Scott..
But, I am sure it's no match for Hot Wheels convention.
Imagine a Pinball machine Convention?
everyone with their machines in their rooms! LOL!!
I would feel sorry for those bell hops!
Bell Hops with back braces!!!
I believe most of those machines were donated for the weekend by pinball collectors(many are from the Pinball Museum). One guy I was talking to brought three from his personal collection.
I know one guy who has 18 machines, another guy has 20. These people are no different than us, except their hobby is very interactive. They display nice and the play time is a gas...
Most machines are relatively inexpensive compared to some of the redlines most of us have in our collection.
I got the green light to expand my pinball collection into the garage...now the search is on, hopefully I'll bring enough money home from the convention to purchase another!!

A friend got me hooked on Pins about 10 years ago.We have had transformation after transformation on the size of the collection ever since.Even the Cat loves pinball around here !
I have thinned the herd since the move and currently have 3 left,Banzai Run,Roadshow, And Monster Bash.
In the past we have had,Blackwater 100,Hurricane,Cyclone,Demolition Man,Last Action Hero,Haunted House,Black Hole,Guns and Roses,Time Machine,Class of 1812 and I am sure more I cannot remeber right now.I really need to order a new cord for my external hard drive so I can get some of the older pics back !
Here is one we took with us to the 05 Convention and had it in our room set on free play

Finally figured out how to change this !!
I still love to play whenever we see one. One of my Favorites was a machine called "Whirlwind". It had a spinning plate near the flipper that would go crazy at times, and had a magnet in it to stop the ball dead in its tracks. I would love to find one for my hot wheel room!
I am looking for loose YELLOW and CHOCOLATE BROWN Hot Heaps, as well as any and all the BPs I can afford! Let me know what you got!
Cool thread Scott. I am a pinball player from way back and my favorite is called "Hi Speed". You had to run from the cops and run the ramp for multi-ball play and really rack up the points.
Haven't played in a long time tho.
Jeff, High Speed is on my hit list, it is laid out beautifully for great play. It creates an adrenaline rush when "He's getting away". They made a second version of High Speed called Great Getaway, and I had a line on one and was going to look at it this week. Most people say it's a much better version of High Speed. Well by change I got to play each one last Saturday, and I didn't like the Great Getaway, so the search continues for the original High Speed.
Funhouse would be second on my hit list, another fun game.
Other Jeff, Whirlwind is a fun game too. Remember this line? "Feel the power of the storm" then the fan mounted on top of the machine would kick on, blowing towards your face???
Certainly a lot of thought went into these things, all are different, but yet similar too. A royal kick in the pants for me, absolutely love playing!
