I'm just telling myself that if there are not drastic improvements in these next 4 years the democrats will get tossed even with the imbalance. This gives me hope. GOP still has the house so hope and change will have to compromise as much as it kills him. Better not blame it on Bush anymore.
Gary...people been complaining about who is in office since way before I was a kid. Don't let those frickin whiners get in the way of you living you life to the fullest. There are so many ways to have a full life and to enjoy this country it makes my heads spin. Things will never be perfect as far as the gov't is concerned and who serves there so make the best of it and tighten your belt and allow yourself to think big and successfully. Be positive and good things happen in the life.

This country is the best country ever as long as we don't snivel and whine about the little crap. Having this president have 4 more years doesn't bother me one bit. He doesn't pay my bills nor feed my family as I have always worked for my wages. I don't expect anything from the gov't and I pay my taxes and live my life the way I want to. I am loaded fror bear 24/7 with more ammo than I can count.
I expect nothing from anybody in the senate or the house of reps. They are all self center egotists and that's where I lose them. I can do nothing about it so let them be what they are. I DON'T CARE ABOUT THEM!!!

Hang in there buddy unless you like freezing cold...snow and saying "eh" after every other word...lol

    PEACE...

I know THIS is a likely waste of time,...but I'll answer your questions.

Ozone: There was a HUGE problem with the ozone layer at the poles and extending into the sub-arctic regions. They discovered (not by asking God) that CFCs (chloroflourocarbons, lighter than air) floated up and mixed with ozone, thereby destroying it and allowing harmfull rays into the atmoshere and onto the flora and fauna beneath. Are ya with me so far...? Good!

Where was the source of CFCs...in spray cans. So all the countries of the world decided to cut out the use of CFCs in spray cans. That was about 20 years ago or more. Since that time,...the hole in the ozone layer has slowly repaired itself and has filled back in to a large degree.

Acid Rain: Yep,...big problemo there too. Just ask the maple syrup producers in the northeast US and eastern Canada, particularly in Quebec. Ask anyone who depends on the forests for a living...
They'll all tell ya that their trees are all sick, and the treetops are leafless...

Sooooooooo,...again, science, not God, looked into what could be causing the problem... They discovered a sulphuric acidy fallout was causing this. Where was that coming from?...

Dirty unregulated factory emissions... both from the US and Canada... If nothing was done,...there'd be no forests left in time... There'd be nowhere for Ted Nugent to go hunting anymore...
or any maple syrup to put on his pancakes...

So once again the big bad government had to step in and try to fix things... the big corporate magnates certainly weren't about to... Gee, that would cut into profits...

You have to ask yourself...what the hell good are profits when there's no planet left...?

These big corporate types run off to their beautiful spreads way out in the country and away from all the pollution after work and on weekends leaving all the worker mooks behind in the dirty cities in the pollution. Do you really think they give a crap about you? Nope!

You have to take care of the place and clean up or prevent the mess.

If you get your information from the very type of dogmatic speaking idiots like those senators who say $h!t like "Women don't get pregnant from,...get this....Legitimate Rape..." YOU my friend,...and all of us are in BIG trouble...

And so you have a Bible...I'll enlighten you here too... The word 'Dominion' is used in there... Most take that to mean 'Dominate'... Well,...they'd be wrong too.

The use of the word dominion in the Bible means to take CARE of the planet. NOT to suck the juices out of it and leave it in ruin...

Just ask any farmer about taking care of their land and livestock. If they destroyed their land, and raised sickly uncared for animals...they be outta business AWFULLY quick. You needn't look any further than those ugly people who run puppy mills... If it were left up to THOSE types to run the planet and the farms..... Need I say more...?

There's no doubt in my mind that you have morals. You don't come across like a rapist, bank robber, kiddy diddler, wife beater or the like,...but you do come across as being a wee bit uninformed for whatever reason...

Maybe it's lucky that Romney didn't get in,...because he'd have killed Big Bird, and PBS along with him...THEN where would folks get at least a LITTLE bit of information unhindered by 'Corporate World'...

You could liken the corporations to Zigfried and Chaos as seen in Get Smart...

In order to maximize profits, and dodge government regulation,...they stuck their thumbs in the eyes of Americans, and Canadians too,...and moved off shore. WHICH as you know, is one of the MAJOR problems with the US, and to a degree, the Canadian economies...

Don't mean to ramble on so much,...but you asked... Running off to the hardware store to stock up on ammo and guns isn't the answer unfortunately...

Why do I care so much...? I'm not sure,...I have NO kids to leave behind in this crap... I had the foresight when I was young to know better, and NOT try to keep up with the Jones', and all the other 'Lemmings', and could really care less... Except for caring about those who DO give a $hit, ..and all the critters of the planet who really DON'T have it coming for the sake of human greed and ignorance...

    Hope that answers your questions...

By the way,...you could move on up to Alberta and get a nice spread by the tarsands and pump the water out of the watershed,...drink it for a while. Don't worry,...YOU won't get cancer...

My uncle Noel was a petrochemical engineer for Suncor there. Even HE used to tell us what was on the horizon in an unregulated industry such as that...

If it wasn't for the cash in Alberta, the east would be toast.I would love to cut the cash flow off to the East. And as far as your Uncle Noel goes, sounds like he's full of crap like yourself.

I visited British Columbia for the first time this past August, road tripped all the way there from L.A. and back, in my '97 Ford Thunderbird Lx Ltd. Edition Sport Coupe............

I kinda liked it there, wanted to stay longer...........

IMO, there's only 2 good things that came out of Obummers re-election...........

He and the rest of his ilk can't blame Bush anymore for the last 4 years............

And most important? He can't run for re-election again in 2016! :-)
